These terms cover your use of the Landscaping Saskatoon Pros website and the guidance published on it, for visitors in Saskatoon and the surrounding communities. They set out what the cost and how-to pages are and are not, how quotes work, and the limits of what we can be held to based on information published here. Work we actually perform is governed by the written scope for that job, not by this page.

The guidance on this site is general

The guides and cost pages describe how work is generally done in Saskatoon conditions and what generally drives prices here. They are not an assessment of your property and they are not a quote. Ground conditions, drainage, access, and municipal requirements vary enough between neighbouring lots that no page can substitute for someone standing in the yard.

Where we describe permit thresholds, the provincial elm pruning restriction, or municipal bylaw obligations, we do so accurately to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing. Those rules change and differ between the City of Saskatoon, the City of Warman, the City of Martensville and the RM of Corman Park. Confirm current requirements with the relevant authority before acting.

Quotes and pricing

No price on this website is an offer. Cost pages deliberately describe what moves a price rather than quoting figures, because the honest range on a Saskatoon property is wide and a published number that a real quote then contradicts is worse than no number at all.

A quote becomes binding only when we have visited the property and issued a written scope setting out what is included, the depths and specifications we are building to, and what is excluded. Quotes are valid for the period stated on them and may be revised if conditions found once work starts differ materially from what was visible at the visit — buried debris and unmarked services being the usual causes.

Doing the work yourself

Several pages here explain how to do things yourself, and we mean it — if a guide talks you out of hiring us, it has done its job. But work you carry out on your own property is at your own risk. Digging without utility locates, altering grade in a way that discharges water onto a neighbouring property, and building structures that require a permit without one all carry real consequences, and we cannot accept responsibility for outcomes of work we did not perform.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Landscaping Saskatoon Pros is not liable for loss or damage arising from reliance on general information published on this website. This does not limit our liability for work we actually carry out, which is governed by the written scope agreed for that job.
