Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you submit the quote form we collect the name, phone number, property address or neighbourhood, the service you selected, and anything you write in the message field. When you call us we collect whatever you tell us — typically the same information.
The form also records a few technical values alongside your message. These are used to filter automated spam and to tell us where a genuine enquiry came from: the time between the page loading and the form being submitted, the originating IP address of the submission, the browser and device identifier your browser sends (the “user agent”), and the address of the page you submitted the form from (the “referring page”). These are stored with your enquiry. They are not used to build an advertising profile of you and they are not sold or shared with anyone outside the providers described below.
Why we collect it
To contact you about your enquiry, to arrange and carry out a quote visit, to prepare and send a written scope and price, and to schedule and perform the work if you go ahead. We do not use your details for marketing unrelated to your enquiry, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful and how visitors reach the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information including your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you view. This data is processed by Google and is subject to Google's own privacy terms. You can block it with any standard browser setting, extension, or by declining cookies — the site works normally either way.
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies, and we do not run any third-party trackers beyond the analytics described above.
Who your information is shared with
A form submission passes through, and is stored by, service providers who process it on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and receives the submission first.
- Google Cloud (Firestore) — the submission is saved to a cloud database we operate on Google’s infrastructure. This is where your enquiry is kept.
- Resend sends us the email notification that a new enquiry has arrived.
- Google Analytics receives the website usage data described above. It does not receive your form submission.
These providers operate outside Saskatchewan, and the servers involved are located outside Canada — primarily in the United States. Information stored there may be accessible to foreign courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities under the laws of those countries. We do not share customer details with other contractors, marketers, or data brokers.
We would disclose information only where required by law, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and job records for as long as we have a business reason to — an enquiry often turns into a job a season or two later, and records relating to completed work are kept for at least seven years to meet business and tax record-keeping requirements.
To be straightforward with you: submissions are not deleted automatically on a schedule. They remain in the database until we remove them. If you would like your information deleted, ask us using the contact details below and we will delete it, except where we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Call (639) 638-8899 or send the request through the contact page and we will respond within thirty days.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting how we handle information already collected will be notified to affected customers directly.
